Black Meringue is anything but ordinary. If you’ve got a feature idea that’s fun, original and more than a little off-the-wall, we want to hear about it. But remember, if it would run in a vanilla wedding publication, it’s probably too sweet for Black Meringue.

Internship applications

Black Meringue is always looking for fresh talent to get involved in its editorial department. Placements are a minimum of four weeks and previous editorial experience or a degree in English or design is preferable. Placements are unpaid, but the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of Black Meringue’s production and gain valuable insight into the publishing industry.

How to apply

Please submit at least three feature ideas with details of how you see these working along with at least one example of your own written or design work in word or pdf format. Written submissions should be no more than 1,000 words. Please include your personal details (name, email, telephone number) and details of desired experience.
